Lumberjacking is one of the most hazardous professions today. Dangerous equipment and working at high heights create a lot of risks for workers. Luckily, forests have become the unlikely location for technological advancements such as this monster tree-climbing chainsaw.
New robots specifically designed and programmed to trim and cut down trees have been created. With these, we will no longer need to put human beings in such treacherous situations. Trimming trees before they’re cut down also makes felling them much less hazardous, and easy to deal with once they’re on the forest floor.
