  3. You will see your Apple Watch begin to play a weird static animation. You will also notice that your iPhone will prompt you to “Hold Apple Watch up the Camera. Align with the viewfinder below.” Hover your iPhone over the iPhone wo the Apple Watch face is aligned until pairing is complete.
  4. Choose how you want to create the Apple Watch (new or restored from a backup) as well as which wrist you plan on wearing it on.
  5. Sign in using your Apple ID.
  6. Follow the simple instructions to set up some of the more basic settings. This would include things such as location services, route tracking, and Siri.
  7. Create your passcode for your Apple Watch.

Beyond your iPhone, there are different Bluetooth devices you can use with a much shorter paring.

  1. Make sure your accessory in in pairing or discovery mode.
  2. On the Apple Watch, tap Settings> Bluetooth.
  3. Tap the Apple Watch Bluetooth Accessory you are trying to pair up with.
  4. If prompted, enter the PIN that came with the Apple Watch Bluetooth accessory.
